Vision:

To enlighten and explore the Ayurvedic concepts of Sharir Rachana in todayʹs modern science era.

 

Mission:

To develop Sharir Rachana Department with respect to Embryology, Osteology, Myology, Arthrology, Micro Anatomy and applied aspects of Human Anatomy.

 

Course Outcomes: UG

Ø  Recognise and state the normal structures of human body through dissection.

Ø  Identify histological and micro-anatomical structures.

Ø  Explain Garbha Sharira with respect to the pre and post-natal developmental changes.

Ø  Mark surface anatomy for surgical procedures and radiological purposes in diagnosis of disease.

Ø  Apply the knowledge of Pramana Sharira and Marma Sharira into their clinical practice of Ayurveda.

Ø  Identify every anatomical detail of the body and distinguish between normal and abnormal.

Ø  Demostrate various organs, their histological and micro-anatomical features and applied aspects.

Ø  Correlate Shatachakra and central nervous system and explain its applied anatomy.

Ø  Explore the knowledge of Garbha Sharir and compare it with the principles of modern science.

Ø  Apply knowledge of Rachana Sharir in context of mamsa, sira, snayu, asthi, and sandhi in clinical practice.
